Landing Page Daily Rank Snapshot



The Landing Page Daily Rank Snapshot report provides landing page specific keyword rank.

If the selected landing page has ranked for any campaign keywords during the date range, the keywords and rank display in separate tables for each search engine in which it ranked.

Daily Rank for Landing Page Keywords by Search Engine

When you select a domain and landing page, and click the search icon, the report displays each search engine in a separate table. Each table includes only the keywords that ranked for the landing page during the date range.

When you see blanks in the report, as in the above screenshot, that means that the landing page didn't rank in the highest position for the keyword on those dates. However, a different landing page might have ranked for that keyword on that date so you can access the Landing Page Monitor report (same Landing Page Tools section) and there you can view the ranked landing pages for a specific keyword.

Landing Page Daily Rank Snapshot with Google Analaytics Traffic Summary

Google Analytics landing page traffic sessions, users, and conversions can be displayed in this report by turning on the option in the General Settings section.

Report Options

 
Select a custom Date Range

Date:

  • Select a report date range
Enter Custom Report Title and display settings

Display

  • Enter a Custom Report Title (optional): enter a Title to display centered at the top of your report. This title will also display on your white label PDF reports; both in the bookmarked links and at the top of the report.

Display General Columns

  • Google Analytics Metrics: displays a summary above the table with sessions, users and conversion metrics
  • Keyword Tags: displays a column containing the selected keyword tags
  • Rank Color Scale:  displays rank cells with a heat map based on positions
  • Algorithm Updates: displays indicator of Google algorithm updates reported in our historical algorithm update tracking tool in the date column heading
Keyword and Notes display

Keyword

  • Average Monthly Volume: based on Keyword Planner when the keyword was added to the campaign (learn more)

Notes

  • Notes (Single Date)
  • Notes (Date Range)
  • Click the Add Note link to add one or more to the report period

Notes indicators display in the date column heading and can be hovered over to view details. Learn more...

Sort Options

  • Sort Field: Select the rank distribution range or other metric you want to sort the report by
  • Sort Direction: select the sort direction for the sort field, Ascending or Descending
Select Keywords

Keywords

  • Select Keywords: use the All or None link for quick selection, or individually check the boxes beside the keywords to be included in the report

Important: When you add keywords to a campaign you need to open Report Options and check the boxes beside the new keywords or click the Default Report Settings option in the Gear icon menu to display all keywords in your report. The number of keywords currently included in your report displays directly below the report title where you'll find the words "Displaying # out of ## keywords" for your convenience.  That calculation comes from the settings you select here and in the Keyword Tags filter option.

  • Select Tag(s) to filter the report results by: use the All or None link for quick selection, or individually check the boxes beside the keyword tags to be included in the report.
  • Select a Tag Filter
    Contains at least one (OR) - this option will include any of the selected keyword tags
    Require all selected (AND) - this option requires all of the selected keyword tags in order for the keyword data to display in the report 

Important: Refer to Tag Manager for more information about creating Keyword Tag Groups and Tag Options.

Select Domain

Websites

  • Select the Domain you want included in the report
  • Select the Landing Page you want to view rank for (this can also be selected at the top of the report screen)
Select Search Engines

Search Engines

  • Select the search engine(s) you want included in the report
  • Drag to change the display order
Note: data only displays for a search engine if the landing page had any ranking keywords for the selected dates.
Save Report Default

Save

  • Click the Apply Changes button.

Add to PDF Report


Conveniently add a report or graph with its current settings to a PDF report by hovering over the gold gear icon and selecting Add to PDF Reports

Select the PDF Report that you want the report or graph added to

Drag the new report or graph into the position you want it to display in the PDF and confirm that the Date settings do not conflict with the automated scheduling settings.

Reports and graphs can be added to automated PDF reports via the report screen (as described above) or manually in the PDF Report Content screen. If the report is added via the:
  • report screen, then begin by clicking the Edit button corresponding to the report
  • PDF Report Content screen, then click the Add Report button and select the Campaign name and Report: Landing Page Daily Snapshot.

Date



Expand the Date Options section and in the Show Report date of the last field type in the number of periods to be displayed in the report

In the next field select one of the following options:
  • days
  • weeks
  • months
  • years
In the data ending on field select one of the following options:
  • first day
  • last day
  • or a specific day of the month
  • or a specific day of the week (when weekly reports are selected)
In the of field select one of the following options:
  • this
  • last
In the next field select one of the following options:
  • week
  • month
The selection must produce a logical date setting based on the PDF report's automated scheduling (at the bottom of the Report Details screen). For example:
  • last day of last month
  • 1st of this month
  • last day of last week
If the report is scheduled to be sent every Monday, then the following example would be invalid:
  • Saturday of this week (because weeks begin on Sunday and if reports are sent on Monday, then Saturday of this week hasn't yet occurred).
If the report is scheduled to be sent on the 1st day of every month, the following example would be invalid:
  • last day of this month (because it's only the 1st day of the month the report is being sent)

Display



Custom Report Title (optional): displays across the top of the report section.
