Sitelinks

Sitelinks are additional links that appear below some Google search results. The sitelinks, normally numbering between four and six, point to other pages on the website. According to Google, the purpose of these links is to help people navigate websites and quickly find what they are looking for. Sitelinks are automatically generated by Google's algorithm, but Google recommends that webmasters check that their navigation links "use anchor text and alt text that's informative, compact, and avoids repetition." The presence of Sitelinks increases the CTR (click-through rate) and therefore websites attempt to optimize their navigation links for this feature.
