Add Landing Page Tags



The Campaign Settings > Landing Pages Tag settings can be used to match URLs with a user-friendly descriptive tag that replaces the URL in graphs and reports or to filter Search Console reports:

Landing Page Tags can be added individually or imported in the Campaign Settings > Landing Pages screen, and are useful for sites that have content relating to a specific location or topic spread across multiple directories. You may add landing pages that exist in the primary domain being tracked in the campaign.

Landing Page Tags for Google Analytics Reports


Landing Page Tags Settings
In the Campaign Settings > Landing Pages screen for display in Google Analytics widgets utilizing the Page dimension, Analytics Traffic Overview and Top Traffic Pages reports:
  • URL Address: enter only the portion of the URL after the domain for the path that applies to the page. For example, if the full URL is https://example.com/shop/blue-jeans, then enter /shop/blue-jeans in the URL address field.
  • Enter Tag: enter a Tag / Friendly Name for the URL as you want it displayed in the report

In the Campaign Settings > Landing Pages screen for filtering the Search Console Search Analytics Pages report:
  • URL Address: enter the full URL, e.g., https://example.com/page-name
  • Enter Tag: enter a Tag / Friendly Name for the URL as you want it displayed in the report options

After associating URLs with Tags, you can filter the Search Analytics Pages report by Tag(s) to only display the URLs you want listed in the report.

User-friendly YouTube Video Labels
In the Campaign Settings > Landing Pages screen to display a user-friendly description of YouTube videos in the Rank Dashboard report:
  • URL Address: enter the full URL, e.g., https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRgYMzahgcQ
  • Enter Tag: enter a Tag / Friendly Name as you want it displayed in the report

Use Friendly Name Tag on Landing page campaign settings


Access all the Competitors URLs listed in Campaign Settings > Websites

  • URL Address: enter the full URL, e.g., play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airbnb.android
  • Enter Tag: enter a Tag / Friendly Name as you want it displayed in the report, e.g. Airbnb
